Omaha, NE March 23, 2001 - PRIMUS Sterilizer announces their Authorized Operator Security (AOS) option for the PSS500 sterilizer control. Available on PRIMUS' General Purpose and Bio  Pharma™ sterilizers. This expanded function of the robust PSS500 control limits operation of the PRIMUS autoclave only to authorized personnel.Up to 4 PIN's may be generated by the supervisor and issued to personnel who are authorized to operate the autoclave. The autoclave will initiate a cycle only when a valid Personal Identification Number (PIN) is entered. Operator numbers (not their PIN) are printed along with other run data, to identify responsibility for a given run. When the PSS500 control is specified with C11 remote data recording, the same run data, including the operators number, is stored and retrieved using a remote PC. This feature provides a continuous electronic record of all sterilizer runs for supervisory retrieval and review. |
