Decontamination Sterilizers

Laboratories working with highly contaminated materials require a sterilizer capable of killing all microorganisms prior to disposal. A PRIMUS decontamination sterilizer is used when killing all material in the chamber and not preserving the product is required.

A decontamination sterilizer uses an effluent configuration to ensure steam and water is sterile prior to discharge to the drain. All waste and condensed steam are held within the chamber until a confirmed good cycle is complete. In addition to the specially designed chamber, the effluent controlled configuration includes special components making it suitable for biohazard applications.
